Helina in Amharic translates to "conscious mind". The poem speaks about the importance of Melbourne's Ethiopian community in getting over their fractions and to band together for the benefit of future generations

Sinit is a young Ethiopian-Australian poet, musician and dancer. She is currently studying Community Development and is passionate about working with young people and her community to maintain culture and pride. She has set up a dance group called Ezkitza to showcase Ethiopian culture from all regions of the diverse country to Australian audiences

Memphis Kelly is a Melbourne-based musician, songwriter and producer. She is currently studying a Bachelor of Arts (Music Industry) at RMIT where her primary focuses are music production, performance and sound art. Memphis currently writes and produces music for SAATSUMA, a new ambient-electronic collaborative project. She also writes and performs alongside her sister in indie-pop band Wishful, as well as singing backing vocals for Dan Kelly’s Dream Band and blues singer C.W. Stoneking.
